On Tuesday, Jacksonville State University’s board of trustees voted to fire John Beehler as school president.
So far, no reason has been given.
Last month, the board authorized Beehler to take a 90-day leave of absence, claiming he had family issues. The statement also claimed his absence had nothing to do with rape allegations against a number of men.
Beehler took office four years ago.
