JSU has fired their school president

On Tuesday, Jacksonville State University’s board of trustees voted to fire John Beehler as school president.

So far, no reason has been given.

Last month, the board authorized Beehler to take a 90-day leave of absence, claiming he had family issues. The statement also claimed his absence had nothing to do with rape allegations against a number of men.

Beehler took office four years ago.
