Two turkeys aren’t going to end up on a Thanksgiving table this year thanks to Gov. Kay Ivey.
During the annual turkey pardon Monday, Nov. 18, Ivey pardoned Clyde and Henrietta, two turkeys from the Bates Family Farm, which supplies the Bates House of Turkey in Greenville. The Bates family has provided the turkey to be pardoned every year since 1949.
