Fundraisers set up to help Brindlee Mountain Primary School recovery

If you’d like to help in the recovery effort for Brindlee Mountain Primary School here are some ways to do that:

Zaxby’s in Arab is hosting a fundraiser by the Boy Scouts in which all of the money raised will do towards helping the school recovery. Zaxby’s will match any money raised.

Classrooms were destroyed, and teachers are looking to rebuild. Here’s a wishlist from one teacher, and WZDX will add more if they become available.

A fund has been set up to help the recovery of Brindlee Mountain Primary School, which suffered severe damage from Saturday’s EF-2 tornado.

Anyone wanting to donate can contribute to the Brindlee Mountain Primary School Disaster Recovery Account at any Citizens Bank and Trust, which has eight locations in the Tennessee Valley. Checks can be sent as well. Make checks payable to:
