Delivery driver robbed at Rosie’s Restaurant

Huntsville Police have released information on a robbery that took place at Rosie’s Mexican Restaurant on Memorial Parkway.

On Sept. 2, at 5:15 a.m., a delivery driver was unloading his truck when he was confronted by a black man who pulled out a gun and demanded the driver’s wallet. The driver fought with the offender. As the fight was going on, three other unidentified black men appeared and began struggling with the delivery driver.

As a result, the driver fell off the loading ramp and injured his head. The offenders were able to take the driver’s wallet and cell phone; they fled the area on foot. The driver was transported to Huntsville Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injures.
