Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions may want his old job back.
One source says the Alabama Republican is thinking about running for the Senate seat he gave up in 2017 to become attorney general. Republicans appear to believe he would be a strong candidate, but fear President Donald Trump would campaign heavily against him.
The two have not been on good terms since Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation. Sessions has until November 8 to decide if he will run.
