A California driver has a turkey to thank for getting out of a speeding ticket.

It happened, of course, on Thanksgiving on a road in Livermore, California. After the officer stopped the driver, a wild turkey appeared and started chasing the officer around the car and even back to his patrol motorcycle.
The aggressive turkey was enough to make the officer let that driver off with a warning, saying it looked like the turkey didn’t want the man to get a ticket.
The bird wasn’t arrested either, but police have nicknamed it “no ticket turkey.”
