Friday morning, folks at Huntsville International Airport got some Valentine’s Day love from some cute furry friends.
Earlier today, the airport partnered with A New Leash on Life on a chance to bring some joy to passengers while also giving back to the rescue.
At the airport, folks got to interact with cats and dogs up for adoption, had the chance to get kisses from them at the Smooch Booth, and also make donations to A New Leash on Life. There was also A New Leash on Life merchandise on sale.
“Dogs act as a stress reliever, and with long days of travel, and with people anxious about flying, it’s a great distraction for everybody,” said Cooper Jacobs, a public relations assistant who worked on the event.
