Tips for an environmentally friendly Easter

EARTH FRIENDLY EASTER

If you’re looking for ways to have an environmentally friendly Easter, Operation Green Team in Huntsville has some tips.

They suggest using things you already have around the house for an Easter basket. Instead of using plastic grass, try shredding newspaper or cutting up grocery bags. You can also reuse Easter baskets and plastic eggs each year. People with Operation Green Team even used an umbrella to hold candy and Easter eggs.

Many people even use real grass and shrubbery for their Easter baskets and compost it later.
