The 2019 Huntsville Christmas Parade theme is "Around the World"

We’re still a few months away from December, and despite that and the heat, Santa made a stop in Huntsville today for an announcement about this year’s Christmas Parade.

In a press conference Wednesday morning, details were announced about the annual parade, which will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd. This year’s parade theme is “Around the World”. This year’s official grand marshal for the parade is 2019 Scripps National Spelling Bee co-champion, Erin Howard.

“It’s a theme that’s going to showcase all the cultures and all the amazing people in our community and make up this city,” said Samantha Nielsen, Marketing and Public Relations Manager for the Von Braun Center. “We are very happy and proud to be one of the first events that kicks off the holiday season.”

The parade is being hosted by Mix 96.9 along with the Von Braun Center. It’s being presented by Redstone Federal Credit Union.
