The Voice of the Auburn Tigers, Rod Bramblett, involved in serious car accident

Rod Bramblett, the Voice of the Auburn Tigers, and his wife Paula, were involved in a serious car accident early Saturday evening in Auburn, according to the Univeristy of Auburn.

The Auburn Athletics twitter page posted a tweet asking the Auburn family to keep the Bramblett family in their prayers.

According to Auburn police’s website, at 6:08 p.m. Saturday, May 25, Auburn Police, Fire and paramedics responded to a car crash on Shug Jordan Parkway. A 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee struck the rear of a 2017 Toyota Highlander. A 53-year-old male and a 52-year-old female, both in the Highlander, were transported to the hospital with serious injuries. 

The 16-year-old male driver of the Jeep was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

One person has died, but the police have not released names. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
