UPDATE (9:00 p.m.) – ALEA State Troopers have released the names of the four victims who were killed in a two-vehicle crash on Alabama Highway 67.
According to troopers, Allen Dewanne Gore, 41, of Sommerville was killed when the 2002 Pontiac Grad Prix he was driving crossed the centerline and collided head on with a Peterbilt log truck. Gore, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Holly Marie Young, 23, and two children ages 2 and 4, were passengers in the Pontiac and were also pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Peterbilt was injured and transported to a local area hospital.

The crash occurred on Alabama Highway 67 one mile south of Joppa.

Four people are dead following a two-vehicle crash in Cullman County Monday, June 3.
According to ALEA State Troopers, the crash happened around 8:00 a.m. on Alabama Highway 67 in Cullman County, near Cullman County 1763. State Troopers confirm four people were killed and a fifth person was injured.
The investigation is ongoing; updates will be made as they become available.
