Oakwood Farms giving fresh food to furloughed federal workers

Oakwood Farms in Huntsville is “sharing for the shutdown.”

This weekend they will distribute free locally-grown produce, fruits, veggies, and grains to the furloughed workers in the Huntsville community during the partial government shutdown.

The event will be held in the parking lot of Oakwood Farms Market from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, January 19th.

Organizers ask that you use the West Gate for entering and exiting the campus.
