New Greenway opening at the Space & Rocket Center


Celebrate the new Energy Greenway at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center at a free event with giveaways, crafts, educational activities, green energy tips, and more.

This rain-or-shine event happens on April 6 from 10 a.m. to noon. Take a walk or run down the new trail at this free community celebration and learn about renewable energy among the way.

There will be fun, energy-related activities, great community organizations to discover and opportunities to learn about clean energy solutions. Want to see how big small can be? Take a tour of the Nexus Energy Center Tiny Green Home!

Park at the EAST Parking Lot. A free shuttle bus pick up located in front of the Educator Training Facility (ETF) will take you to the Energy Greenway entrance!

Other activities include Make your own Wildflower Garden Seed Starter Kit and Totally Tubular Compostable Bird Feeders! Opportunities for Boy & Girl Scouts to earn Energy Badges! Be sure and hunt for painted rocks while you’re there.

This party is dog-friendly, so bring your pal on a leash. Water stations will be available.

The Energy Greenway entrance is located at the entrance to Aviation Challenge and end behind the RV park at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. Click here for a map:
