A mother tells us it’s a state program that’s allowing her son to return to somewhat of a normal life after he was Severity injured in a car crash.
The program is called Enable, it’s a savings account for people with disabilities.
Kathleen Baxter’s son was servery injured in a car accident, three years ago.
This changed Baxter’s life as he knew it, and after healing quicker than doctors thought, he was able to start working.
With his change of life, the family occurred several medical expenses and that’s when they turned to the state Enable program.
The program was set up by Alabama treasury sectary Young Boozer.
