Two Morgan County men were arrested following a drug and firearm bust.
On July 19, Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in the 900-block of Bird Spring Road in Decatur after an investigation pertaining to the distribution of heroin and marijuana.
During the search of the residence, Agents recovered over 2 grams of heroin and a significant quantity of marijuana within the home. Numerous firearms were also recovered.

Agents then arrested Timothy Jackson Knowlton IV, 22 of Decatur, and Aaron Patrick Roets, 19 of Hartselle.

Knowlton, who Agents were investigating for distribution of heroin and marijuana, was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute Heroin, 1st Degree Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was booked with a $7,800 bond.
Roets was charged with 1st Degree Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Loitering in a Drug House. He was booked with a $25,000 bond.
