Marshall County's Drug Task Force seize meth, guns, marijuana

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. - UPDATE: 4:02p.m. - Chamblee is now in the Marshall County jail. His bond was set at $1.5 million dollars.


Marshall County Drug Task Force members have jailed Kevin Chamblee after finding a large amount of drugs and guns in his Boaz home at 75 Garden Lane.

The search warrant, served on Saturday, netted five pounds of methamphetamine, eight ounces of marijuana and nine firearms.

The investigation started when Boaz Police were able to develop an informant, according to John Siggers, Marshall County's Drug Task Force Commander. 

Chamblee is charged with Drug Trafficking, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st, and being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
