Motorcyclists arrested following high-speed chase in Owens Cross Roads


Two motorcyclists are facing charges after leading police on a chase in Owens Cross Roads.

Jonathon Cheatwood, 24, and another man were allegedly going 100 miles per hour in a 40 mile-per-hour zone, when they slammed into a patrol car, hitting the right fender.

Cheatwood had minor injuries and faces multiple charges, including reckless driving and eluding.

The driver of the other motorcycle turned himself in and faces charges as well. His name has not been released. The officers involved in the crash were not injured.
