Madison Police search for Skyline Road murder weapon in Elk River


Madison Police are searching for a seventh person they believe played a role in the murder of Luke Pratt on Skyline Road.

Kenneth Khesahn Altonia Harvey (Age: 19) is wanted in connection with the May 6 murder of Luke Robert Pratt on Skyline Rd. in Madison.

The 19-year old suspect Kenneth Harvey is believed to be in the Jacksonville, Florida area. Six people, including one juvenile, have been arrested for breaking into a home, stabbing Pratt to death, and shooting another person on May 6th. The second person was taken to the hospital.

Police are also searching for the murder weapon, which they believe was thrown into the Elk River in Limestone County.

“I’ve lived here for 24 years in law enforcement and I’m not aware of a case with this many young men at this age involved in the criminal activity that happened at Skyline Acres,” said Chief David Jernigan. “These teenagers should be thinking about what they’re gonna be doing for the summer, what they’re gonna be doing after high school.”

Other arrests are:
– Hunter Guy Ray Dubois, 20, of Athens, AL – Murder and Burglary in the First Degree
– Austin Blake Holmes, 19, of Toney, AL – Capital Murder and Burglary in the First Degree
– Lucas Ray Kemp, 18, of Toney, AL –  Murder and Burglary in the First Degree
– Hunter Mitchell Moore of Huntsville, AL – Capital Murder, Attempted Murder and Burglary in the First Degree
– Unnamed Juvenile
