Three Madison County schools are being honored for their efforts of working together with students, families, staffs, and their communities.
Sparkman High School, Madison County High School, and Monrovia Middle School are now all blue ribbon school winners. Nominated earlier this year, the schools completed an application and underwent a national review process.
They were honored in Orlando, Florida Friday at the Blue Ribbon Lighthouse School Conference.
Four additional Madison County Schools also received certification to renew their Blue Ribbon Status. Those schools include Buckhorn High School, Legacy Elementary School, Madison Cross Roads Elementary School, and Monrovia Elementary School. A total of 18 schools in the Madison County system have earned Blue Ribbon Status.
