MADISON COUNTY, Ala. – The Monrovia Church of Christ in Madison is getting ready to give away closets full of clothes to families in need. This Saturday, the Closet at Monrovia will host a free shopping day for anyone facing economic crisis, no questions asked and no strings attached.

Along with gently used clothing and shoes for women, men, children, and infants, the Closet provides new socks and underwear. When the doors open at 10 a.m. Saturday guests will shop for 10 items per family member present, free of charge. This shopping day will feature mostly summer clothing.

Since opening its doors in 2012, the Closet at Monrovia has helped over 4,000 people, giving away nearly 50,000 clothing items to those in our community. The closet will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, May 2nd at the Monrovia Church of Christ at 595 Nance Road, Madison, AL 35757.
