As Madison County grows, so does the need of its residents. People in the area are ready to help.
Today, United Way of Madison County announced a partnership with 27 local non-profits. Among them are popular ones like the Boys and Girls Club of North Alabama, Manna House, and the American Red Cross.
Every three to five years, United Way assesses the needs in the community to determine their partnerships. They say they chose these organizations because they’ll make a bigger impact in the community.
Through this partnership, more than $1 million will be spread throughout Madison County.
