Local law enforcement preparing to work during winter weather

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is preparing to work during the anticipated show, telling the public, “We are a 24/7 service agency.”

Ahead of the anticipated snow, which is expected to be 2″-2 1/2″ across most of the Tennesee Valley with icy roads after the snow fall, the Sheriff’s office is outfitting vehicles to respond on snow/ice covered roads and making transportation plans for its mission essential employees.

Law enforcement and first responders across the Tennessee Valley will be available for emergency calls. Please don’t call 911 or emergency numbers for road or weather updates or questions.
