Straight to Ale, Green Bus Brewing, and InnerSpace Brewing Company are some of the more than 1,400 brewers making a special brew called Resilience IPA to help victims of the Camp Fire.
Resilience IPA is the brainchild of the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, based in Chico, CA, not far from where the Camp Fire recently burned more than 153,000 acres, killed at least 85 people, and destroyed more than 13,000 homes.
They also reached out to others in the industry, asking them to brew their own Resilience IPAs and donate the sales to the Relief Fund.
Here in Huntsville, Straight to Ale, Green Bus Brewing, and InnerSpace Brewing Company are part of the effort. Sierra Nevada suppliers donated the ingredients and, according to Straight to Ale, provided all participating breweries with a recipe to use as a guideline to create their own versions of this brew.
All three breweries will be brewing soon. WZDX will bring you more as the project progresses and the Resilience IPAs make their public debuts, all to help victims of the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history.
