Want to know about your college acceptance on the spot? You can do that at Calhoun Community College’s Instant Admission Days starting July 13.
There are eight Instant Admission Days this summer. At each one, prospective students can meet college advisors, apply for admission, complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online, take or schedule placement exams, and register for fall classes.
Ashley Robinson, Recruitment Coordinator, says, “Anyone that applies to Calhoun who has graduated or obtained their GED will be instantly admitted on Instant Admission Day. We have streamlined the admissions process to serve as a one-stop shop day for prospective college students.”
Event dates are:
– Tuesdays: July 16, July 23, August 6 and August 13, from 1:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
– Saturdays: July 13, July 27, August 10 and August 17, from 10:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
You can attend at either the Decatur or Huntsville campuses. The Decatur campus is at 6250 Hwy. 31 North in the Chasteen Student Services Center. The Huntsville campus is at 102 Wynn Dr. NW in the Grand Foyer of building #1. In order to complete the process, bring a current government issued photo ID and 2017 tax forms.
