Players from the Huntsville Havoc took a visit to Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children Monday afternoon.

Players and coaches toured the Neonatal ICU in preparation for Melissa George night this Saturday, Feb.  2.

This year kicks off the Havoc’s thirteenth year hosting the special night. The night is a dedication to the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund at the hospital. Players will wear pink and blue jerseys that will be auctioned off to fans after the game.

These auctions have raised almost $600,000 for NICU equipment over the last twelve years.

The first 1,000 fans who bring an item for the NICU parent waiting room will receive a commemorative coffee tumbler. Requested items include: Keurig K-Cups, journals, board books, adult coloring books, individually wrapped snacks, restaurant gift cards, gas gift cards, monetary donations for parking tokens, or preemie/newborn clothing.

The game will be at the Von Braun Center this Saturday at 7 p.m.
