You only turn 30 once and the Huntsville Botanical Garden is doing it in a big way.
The garden celebrated its 30th anniversary today with its “Dancin’ in the Streets” celebration. The event featured food trucks, a champagne fountain and music from the 80’s and 90’s. Tickets were $15 but anyone born in 1988 got free admission.
“It’s a lot of money to have plantings out in the garden, to create fantastic events for our members to enjoy and our guests to enjoy, so it goes back into our operating budget,” said Carol Casey with Huntsville Botanical Garden.
The Botanical Garden attributes it’s 30 years of success to being a community garden that everyone can enjoy.
