Preparations are underway at businesses in North Alabama as they gear up for more traffic than usual leading up to the National Championship.
As folks stock up for their cookouts and game-watching parties, Alexis Heflin, a cashier at Star Market in Huntsville said, they’ll be ready. “We will probably have a large crowd, so we are really stocked on meat, wine, and beer, and all the necessities they have that they will want with that,” said Heflin. “We are pretty well prepared.”
At Below the Radar, TVs will be showing the game, and the staff encourages folks to come out to cheer on their team.
“For the National Championship game, we will be doing happy hour all day, so $1 off drinks and a half priced appetizer menu,” said Tabatha Moore, Front of House Manager at Below the Radar. “We typically will have about 32 beers on tap, and at least half of them will be ours. We do samplers.”
