A new part of the world is interested in a partnership with the National Children’s Advocacy Center in Huntsville.
The NCAC’s executive director says people in Greece want to know more about the center’s new training initiatives. This month they’ve partnered with UNICEF Ecuador and have trained dozens of psychologists, prosecutors, and judges.
“They tour our campus and they see how all our partners are co-located here with us and we have this facility that’s dedicated to the protection of children,” said Executive Director Chris Newlan. “It’s almost like something they can’t believe. In fact we’ve had some people from Ecuador visiting and they said, ‘We have to record this because people won’t believe it unless we show them the video.'”
Thanks to this training in Latin America and now possibly Greece, the national center is becoming international.
