Former Huntsville City Schools superintendent confirmed as an Asst. Sec. of the Army

The U.S. Senate on Thursday confirmed former Huntsville City Schools superintendent Casey Wardynski as an Assistant Secretary for the for Manpower and Reserve Affairs. 

Wardynski served as superintendent from 2011-2016, when he resigned for “personal reasons“. Before coming to Huntsville City Schools, he worked as the Chief Financial Officer for Colorado’s Aurora Public Schools after a career in the Army that spanned more than 30 years.

Most recently, he served as the CEO for FISH Technologies.
