Flu shot clinics in the Tennessee Valley

Flu shot clinics are starting as health professionals work to get people vaccinated before flu season hits.

Check back for an updated list of events.

Sept. 25: Downtown Huntsville Public Library 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Come get a head start on protecting yourself from the flu. Walgreens pharmacists will be setup at the library entrance to offer free flu shots. If you have health insurance, bring your insurance card. There will be vouchers available for individuals without insurance. Shots are available for individuals 7 years and older, and anyone under 18 years old will require a guardian to be present. Huntsville Hospital’s Mobile Medical Unit will be offering free flu shots at these events:

Oct. 2: Triana Wellness Day
Time: 9:30AM -12:00PM
Location: St.Paul United Methodist Church

Oct. 4: New Hope Health Fair
Time: 10:00AM – 1:00PM 
Location: New Hope Municipal Shed

Madison County Health Department Free Flu Shot Clinics – There is no out-of-pocket cost, but participants are asked to bring their insurance cards.

October 2nd – District 1 Shed  9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

October 4th – Monrovia Community Center  9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
