Flash flooding likely through Friday

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for all of the Tennessee Valley through Saturday morning.

A band of heavy rain will set up by Friday morning over northwest Alabama into north centeral Alabama and southern middle Tennessee. An additional 1-3″ of rainfall will be possible in those areas.

A line of storms will move through Saturday evening, some storms could be severe with damaging winds. A few tornadoes cannot be ruled out either.

We will finally dry out by sunrise Sunday and stay completely dry Monday and Tuesday!
