On Monday one of Huntsville’s nonprofits that impacts lives across the Valley thanked those who keep them safe.
The Downtown Rescue Mission served a free lunch to first responders for their emergency services appreciation day. The Mission partnered with Chipotle to do this and a spokesperson said they couldn’t be happier to have emergency officials as partners too.
“We just want to show all those emergency responders that we appreciate them for being so kind to us, being a great partner to the Mission, being so kind to our guests,” said Tylor Jones. “We’re really thankful.”
The meal was served in the new Owen’s House, which has doubled the number of people who can be at the Mission.
