Big things are happening at the Rose of Sharon Soup Kitchen as they work toward fully opening back up.
This week, they began construction on the bathrooms in their building. They’re also finishing up their kitchen and adding a shower and washing machines for Huntsville’s homeless to use, but they need your help.
They run off of donations, and even though the Rose of Sharon Soup Kitchen is under construction, they’re still serving people in Huntsville.
Rose of Sharon President Theresa Wilson said, “During this time, we have been giving out food boxes, taking food to camps, giving out supplies. They can come here; they can hang out. We’ve got coffee, refreshments, and lots of supplies to give out.”
The soup kitchen moved into their new location last year and hope to be done with construction by March.
