We seen the protest and the demands are loud, but it’s law enforcement, some say has been silent.
Today, we sat down exclusively with attorney general Steve Marshall who says his office has been briefed on the officer involved shooting investigation involving the death of EJ Bradford.
Marshall say he’s had multiple conversations with not only ALEA, but the lead investigator in this case.
Since the deadly shooting, protesters have hit the streets of Hoover almost every night.
Marshall say he is concerned about the safety of the protesters.
Today We asked Governor Kay Ivey if the shooting will cast a negative light on Alabama?
She said the only negative light there is to shed is that we have had a homicide, and we’re going to abide by the law, and have law enforcement, that is trained to investigate it and do it thoroughly.
As far as whether the public should see the body cam footage, Marshall is asking to let the system play out.
