HUNTSVILLE — The Alabama Department of Transportation says that all state routes in the North Region remain clear at midday.

There have been no reports of icing or snow accumulation causing travel issues, but motorists are advised to drive with caution. Roads in some areas remain wet due to light rain and/or snow overnight. As temperatures drop later in the day, freezing may occur on wet pavement.

ALDOT continues to scout roadways and has stationed equipment in suspected trouble spots should any issues arise. Spot treatments will be placed as needed.
