Adopt blue/brown-eyed Cooper who’s been at the shelter eight months

The sixth dog in the 12 Strays of Christmas has been at the Greater Huntsville Humane Society longer than any of the other animals. Cooper wants to finally get his forever home before the holidays.

Cooper is a five-year old lab mix with a unique look. He has one blue eye and one brown eye.

Cooper’s been at the shelter almost eight months and he just wants someone to let him show them his love.

“He has a tendency to bark at people,” said Beth Tumlin, animal care lead. “He’s very sweet. He loves people. He just, he’s been here so long.”

When Cooper’s out of his kennel he’s a well-behaved big baby. His owner fell into bad health and now he needs you to give him all the attention so he can give you all the love.

Go get your new best friend. Cooper’s waiting for you at the Greater Huntsville Humane Society.
