Conner Board is a Weeknight Anchor with WZDX News.
Conner has always been passionate about serving the folks in her area and being involved in the community, which is why she chose to go into the news business.
She made the trip to Huntsville from Pocatello, Idaho where she worked as the Morning News Anchor for KPVI, covering Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming.
Prior to moving to Idaho, Conner worked in Nashville, Tennessee as an Intern for a country music news website. This is where Conner realized her love for the South, and knew she wanted to come back.
Conner grew up in Reno, Nevada and stayed in her hometown to attend the University of Nevada, Reno. She majored in Broadcast News and got a minor in Vocal Performance. During college, she was part of the Tri Delta sorority and Panhellenic Council. She also had various jobs – from working at a radio station to working for a minor league baseball team as a cheerleader.
In her free time, Conner volunteers with the Special Olympics and is very passionate about helping those with special needs excel. She also enjoys hiking, horseback riding, kayaking – you name it! Anything outdoors, Conner loves to take part in. Conner is also an avid music enthusiast; when she isn’t singing or playing guitar, she is listening to her favorite country and classic rock tunes!
