Cheer on Madison County law enforcement officers Thursday morning at 7:00 a.m. as they gather at the Madison County Courthouse for the Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for The Special Olympics.
This is the region’s first leg of the run that will continue through cities all the way to Troy, where Alabama’s Special Olympics will take place. The run starts at 7:30 a.m. east on Eustis Ave, turns north on White, west on Randolph back to the Courthouse.
Officers have been raising money and awareness for Alabama Special Olympics. The cost to attend the event is free, but there will be t-shirts to purchase for $12 with proceeds going to the Alabama Special Olympics.
