HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — We woke up to heavy rainfall and loud thunder this morning from the storms that moved through the Tennessee Valley this morning. Our high temperature in Huntsville only made it to 79 degrees today because of the cold front that swept through and brought our storm activity.
Tomorrow we'll start to dry out from the rain and we'll stay dry through the end of the week! Expect plenty of sunshine through the first half of the week but the only downside is our high temperatures will be skyrocketing! Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 90s by the time we reach Wednesday and our humidity will follow so we can expect feels-like temperatures to be in the 100s!
Rain chances increase heading into the weekend and the heat backs off a little. Not everywhere will be seeing rain though. Just a better opportunity to see scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
