TALLADEGA, Ala. — News of a noose being found in the garage of NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace's garage at Talladega Superspeedway spread across the sport like debris across the track after a "big one" at the legendary racetrack..

The noose was found before Sundays race. Access to the infield and garages is extremely limited due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Support for Wallace, who is the only African-American driver racing full-time in the sport's top-tier, was equally swift from some of the icons of the sport.
