Lee High School forfeits game over COVID-19 concerns

With a number of players in self-quarantine, Lee High School is forfeiting its Oct. 9 game.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Several high school football games in the Tennessee Valley were moved from Friday to Thursday due to the risk of severe weather.

The schedule has changed again now that Lee High School has forfeited its Oct. 9 game against Lawrence County.

The school says this is because multiple individuals on the Lee football team are in self-quarantine.

Lee’s next game is set for Friday, Oct. 16, 2020, versus Ardmore High School.
