Huntsville native Jed Bradley has decided to retire from baseball Thursday, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
Bradley, a 2011 first-round draft pick, was working at Double-A Bowie this season before he decided to call it quits.
The 26-year-old made a brief appearance in the majors last season with the Braves, though he struggled to a 5.14 ERA across six games (seven innings). He owns a combined 4.47 ERA and 1.50 WHIP across seven minor-league seasons (511.1 innings) with the Brewers, Braves and Orioles
