The PGA TOUR made the announcement on March 17 that due to the ongoing health crisis, the PGA TOUR will now cancel events through the AT&T Byron Nelson (May 7-10). Furthermore, the PGA of America has postponed the PGA Championship (May 14-17) for a date TBD 2020.

Together with the PGA TOUR and Knight Eady, our Huntsville Championship team worked to evaluate all options in an effort to make a decision to either postpone the event to a later date in 2020 or host the inaugural tournament in 2021. After great review and consideration, our inaugural Huntsville Championship tournament will now take place in April 2021. The official dates of the event will be announced at a later date.

While extremely unfortunate and disappointing for this first-year event, our tournament officials are already in the planning process to host a great event in April of 2021. Our goal has been and will continue to be to put on a first-class event for the City of Huntsville, The Ledges and all of our tournament partners. The health and safety of spectators, players, sponsors, volunteers, employees and all associated with the tournament is and will continue to be our No. 1 priority.

If you are a sponsor, registered volunteer or ticket buyer, you should have already received separate communication from our team with specific details for you. If needed, these details are outlined on our website here.

Thank you for your continued support as everyone navigates this unprecedented situation. For additional information please visit HuntsvilleChampionship.com. If you have any questions, please reach out to our team: info@huntsvillechampionship.
