Many Tennessee Valley area high school football games moved to Thursday due to weather

Heavy rain from Hurricane Delta is in the forecast on Friday. Because of that, a host of Week 7 high school football games are shifting from Friday to Thursday.

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — Heading into week 7 of the AHSAA prep football season, there were only 4 games scheduled for Thursday, October 8th in the Tennessee Valley.

- Madison Academy at Madison County
- Ardmore at East Limestone
- Brewer vs Mae Jemison (Milton Frank Stadium)
- Westminster Christian vs St John Paul II (Discovery Middle School)

But with heavy rains from Hurricane Delta in the forecast for Friday, many Tennessee Valley area high school football teams are moving their contests from Friday, October 9th to Thursday, October 8th.
