Guntersville Lake HydroFest returns in 2021

GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. — Guntersville Lake HydroFest is returning in 2021 on Saturday, June 26, and Sunday, June 27.

Over the weekend, boats will race an oval course at speeds of 200 mph. The two-day racing event dates back to the 1940s, according to organizers.

Adult weekend passes start at $20 and single-day adult passes start at $15. For kids ages 6 to 12, a weekend pass costs $10 and a single day pass costs $5. Kids ages 5 and younger get in free. Also, active-duty military with valid military ID get in free.

For $30, you can get the Ultimate Weekend Pass, which includes free transportation to see the boats at any time throughout the event and a commemorative program.

Club level tickets start at $100 and include access to a private tented area with on-the-water viewing at the start and finish line and free lunch and nonalcoholic beverages. This pass also includes free transportation to see the boats at any time during the event.
