Though high school sports have come to an end this season that hasn’t stopped some local girls from hitting the softball field.
The Decatur All-Stars 15U softball team has been dominating the field in this year’s rec league and now they’re gearing up for the World Series.
The team won the pre area 2 and area tournaments. The team also finished as the state runner-ups last weekend.
Next on their agenda is to travel to Gulf Shores where they will get the chance to compete against some teams from across the country.
