Alabama A&M Men’s Basketball games against Jackson State & Grambling postponed

Alabama A&M's first two conference games against Jackson St. & Grambling are postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test & subsequent quarantining of student-athletes

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — The Men's Basketball games scheduled against Jackson State and Grambling initially slated to be played on January 2nd and 4th respectively, have been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test and subsequent quarantining of student-athletes among the program.

The action follows the guidelines and protocols set by both the SWAC and its COVID-19 Advisory Committee as well as AAMU. 

Across the conference, another pair of SWAC Men's Basketball games have also been impacted by Covid-19.

The Men’s Basketball games scheduled between Alcorn State and Texas Southern along with Southern and Texas Southern initially slated to be played on Saturday, January 2 and Monday, January 4 respectively, have been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test and subsequent quarantining of student-athletes among the TSU program.


Make up dates for the games have not been determined at this time.
