MADISON COUNTY, ALABAMA, Ala. — Friday evening, Buckhorn standout Nylan Thomas signed to play basketball at the next level. The 3-year starter signed his letter of intent to play in town at the University of Alabama-Huntsville.
Today he was surrounded by friends and family to help celebrate the occasion. Buck's head basketball coach Mark Blevins, also was in attendance and gifted Thomas with a basketball and jersey.
The upcoming Charger said he's most excited about making a stamp in the program like the guys he used to watch did.
"I watched Max [Shulman] play, he's a great shooter and never misses. I also watched highlights of Auston Leslie who went to Westminster Christian and he can jump out the gym, probably higher than anyone I've ever seen," Thomas said.
