The spring football season has come full circle for the Alabama A&M Bulldogs and as they approach their annual Maroon and White Game, Coach James Spady has been very impressed with the progress of his team. This spring, we’ve seen the defense rise up and probably perform its best during the spring since Coach Spady has been on the hill and that got under the skin of Spady’s offense.
This spring the Bulldog coaching staff really wanted to see competition levels rise, hoping that will carry over to the 2017 season and so far, everything is working out the way the 4th year coach wants it to.
“We wanted to get situational football played and execute it,” says Coach James Spady. “So those areas , I’m really pleased with it. I’d like to be more consistent. We have three more practices to get that laid out the way we want to but the competition has been great, energy has been great and i feel really good about the progress.”
