The National Toy Hall of Fame inducted its 2019 class.
Matchbox cars, the coloring book, and “Magic: The Gathering” were all inducted.
Matchbox cars first hit shelves in 1953 and in less than a decade, they were selling 100 million a year. “Magic: The Gathering” had trouble selling at first, but then picked up steam, and the first coloring book was made in the 1880s.
